WCBPro Query Installation

The default installation directory for the WCBPro application is c:\wcbprow_v160. For a network installation, it will be on your server drive. It is possible that the directory name or drive may have been changed on your system. Please ensure that you know the correct path name before installing WCBPRO Query.

The default installation for directory WCBPro Query will be c:\program files\WCBPRO Query

Installing on an Individual Computer

Do the following if you want to install on an individual computer, whether it is attached to a network or not, rather than on a network.

When asked for the destination location, either accept the default location or specify a different location on this computer if desired. If you specify a folder that does not exist, the setup program will create it.
When asked for the components to install, select Full installation.

Installing on a Network Server

Do the following if you want to install on a network server. Note that after installing it on a server, you also have to perform a workstation installation on each computer that will run the program from the server; instructions for doing that are in the next section.

When asked for the destination location, specify the desired folder on the server. If you specify a folder that does not exist, the setup program will create it.
When asked for the components to install, select Full installation.

Installing on a Network Workstation

Do the following after you have installed the program on a network server and want to be able to run it on a particular workstation.

When asked for the destination location, specify the server folder where the program was already installed.
When asked for the components to install, select Workstation only.

When running WCBPRO for the first you will need to enter a User and Password. If you are using a trial version, then enter ADMIN for both values.
